On The Wings Of Love

On the Wings of Love is a tragic story taking place in ’68- ‘70s when there was huge political dynamism in Türkiye and it tells about two young people in love who support conflicting ideologies. The story evolves around the impossible love between Arif and Tümay while reflecting the existing social scenario of those days. Tümay, who comes from a wealthy, capitalist family is a leftist young woman and her family is fighting against her ideologies. Arif who comes from a rightist, conservative family is a brave young man struggling for the benefits of his country. Tümay and Arif coming across for the first time at a protest will eventually meet again and this hatred will bear a big love. Besides that, On the Wings of Love sheds light on today’s Türkiye through the political events of that period.
